Who Am I?
Now that Christmas is past (barely), I have a few minutes to post here. The Holiday has made things around my house extra busy and I have had limited time for my blog!
However, another busy season is about to fall upon our family, we are waiting for the arrival of a new baby. To apply the correct process of numerical order, this is baby number 10 :).
I was going to write a post about me, what I like, what I do, how long I spend doing it, etc., but I see that as slightly redundant now that I have filled in my profile more diligently. I seriously doubt that anyone is that interested in reading a thesis length post of what I read, listen to, or otherwise occupy my mind with. That's what one can call (for lack of a better word) boring.
I can write about what I do at home, in fact that's why I like to blog! I may be 20 years old, but I don't go to college. I do own my own business though. Along with my Mother, I write and publish our magazine Seasons At Home. This is new for us this year, and we are busily preparing for the next issue for the Spring. In the magazine, I decided to run a column for young women who, like me, aren't going to college. A couple of years ago it never occured to me that there were other young women who actually stayed home to pursue home on purpose. I just assumed that I was just 'one of those' and moved about my business. I have discovered otherwise since then, and wanted to start something of my own that may become a source of encouragement to others who would like to do the same!
So, if you read this blog, you will find that I write about my family, all the things homey that I like to do and everything that falls in between!
